Introductory Call
Once you are ready to start therapy the first thing (and often the hardest) is to drop me a line by email, text or WhatsApp telling me a little bit about you and why you have made the decision to start on this journey.​ Then, we will arrange to have a brief chat on the phone. This is a chance for you to tell me a little more about what brings you to therapy and what you hope to get from it. Its also a chance to learn a bit more about me, how I work and what you can expect. I do this because a lot of the magic of therapy lies in the relationship you have with your therapist – this chat is the first chance we both have to see how it feels, if it feel like a good fit. Do we feel comfortable working together? ​There is no obligation to take it any further if it doesn’t feel right. Therapy is a big investment of time, money and energy so it’s important to me that you get what you need from it by finding someone you feel comfortable with – if that’s not me then it's great you found that out before spending too much of your valuable resources on it.​ If however, you think you would like to work with me then we can make an appointment for your first session.
